Sheraz Co. was founded in 1992 as a response to food shortages caused by sanctions on Iraq.
The company imported a wide range of food products from Mersin, Turkey, playing a key role in alleviating the crisis. In 1996, Sheraz Co. opened its first office in Mersin, enabling efficient logistics and transportation between Turkey and Northern Iraq. By 2003, the company was officially registered in Turkey as an international trading and transportation firm, following years of successful operations.
